Since last year I had been talking about living a more healthy lifestyle. Eating out all the time really puts a dent in your bank account. If you are like me and plan on saving money and doing everything you can to stay on that path, start cooking more at home.
I cook a lot more during the week and occasionally order for delivery. Another big thing I have been doing is juicing. The juicer I use is the Hamilton Beach Big Mouth Juicer from Walmart. Every juicer has their pros and cons, but I love this one.
Now fruit and veggie shopping is a whole new ball game for me. But, it comes with the territory. I prefer to buy organic. I can hear you now. Organic is expensive! Tis true. Organic is expensive, but you can't put a price on nourishing your body. Medical bills cost a lot more than organic food. Right? You can find better organic options at Whole Foods and Trader Joes.
As stated in a previous blog (Kiss My Grass), I haven't juiced lately. The effects of that have been felt. My sleeping habits are bad again. I'm more tired and sluggish now, which juicing almost eliminated that feeling completely. Juicing got rid of my headaches, but they have came back.
One thing I honestly haven't done yet are the Insanity workouts. I got the DVD collection for a great deal on eBay. I just have not had the time to actually do it.
Along with this new lifestyle came the thought of my moving to Los Angeles. Los Angeles is the staple of healthy eating. From all of the research and youtube vlogs I have came across, it's a good decision to move there for me.
There are workout/yoga sessions on the beach. Many healthy restaurants to choose from if I do decide to dine out. A lot of people take advantage of the hiking trails too. There are endless things to do. All of which are part of my "dream".
Once I get more time I will post the insanity workouts and my progress on my youtube channel.
I'm looking forward to a marvelous future. To get there, I have to continue to think positive and be that inspiration for others along the way. Leave a comment and share this blog!
