Don't Let Anything Rain On Your Parade!

I've been feeling a little down lately. We all have those moments every now and then. Sometimes you can snap out of it. Other times it takes more than that.

When I woke up and crawled out of bed, I realized it was raining. My first thought..."Great. It's raining. Figures." A few minutes later I thought to myself. I can't let my mood be forced into something even worse just because it's raining. It's time to let it go.

I threw on some clothes. Put on my rain boots and went for a walk. During that walk I started thinking back to when I was a child. Picturing myself jumping in the puddles. So I did just that. Well, not actually jumping, but walking through them carelessly. Continuously imagining being a kid again.

Grown up life isn't the greatest at times. Trust me I know. But that shouldn't stop you from letting your inner child out. Not the pouting and stomping around because you didn't get your way. The fun, laughing out loud, looking at your surroundings like an oversized candy land game board, kid. HAVE FUN! There's no room in life to be sad or mad most of the time or even a little bit. When those moments do come, bring out the kid in you!

  1. Hi, Victoria. Thank you for posting on my blog. Best wishes on your goal to get to Los Angeles. I work near your photo of the Santa Monica Pier. It's a nice place to be, and there are lots of opportunities. I wish you much luck.

Since you are working on your goal to focus your life, you might want to think about working with a life coach. My neighbor Patricia has been putting together some group seminars here in West Los Angeles, and you might be interested in her webpage: http://www.heartfullmind.com/Heartfullmind.com/Welcome.html

Best of luck! Aunt Snow (Doves Today)
